Parking & Shuttles

Information about Park and Ride parking and shuttle Parking on the Beach and Accessible Parking.

Park and Ride Locations

During SandFest, Regional Transportation Authority buses will provide shuttle transportation from the following locations and the beach at the end of Sandcastle Drive:

  • Roberts Point Park (near the ferry landing) — Fri, Sat & Sun 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (Free Parking)

  • Port Aransas Community Park (700 Clark Parkway) — Sat & Sun, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (Free Parking)

Shuttle Fee – Free during SandFest

SandFest attendees may walk to the north entrance of SandFest from the end of Sandcastle Drive.

Golf Cart Shuttle from Gracie’s Way Parking Lot
If you park in the free parking lot on Gracie’s Way (off of 1A), there is a free Golf Cart Shuttle from Gracie’s Way at 1A to the beach (Fri, Sat & Sun, 9 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.). You can then walk to the south entrance of SandFest.

CITY TROLLEY

SandFest visitors can get around town and to the beach on the city shuttle.

PARKING ON THE BEACH

SandFest Parking Lots on the Beach

There are 2 parking lots on the beach next to SandFest — one at the north entrance near Ave. G, and one at the south entrance near Access Road 1A.

Accessible SandFest Parking

Accessible parking for cars with a valid (not expired) state issued accessible car placard or license plates is available on the beach in the north SandFest parking lot, near Mile Marker 8. Space is limited. Accessible parking is on a first-come-first-served basis and space cannot be guaranteed.

Golf Carts

Only official SandFest golf carts are allowed inside the SandFest gates. You may park your personal or rental golf cart in the parking lots on the beach.

Beach Parking Permits

The City of Port Aransas requires a $12.00 permit to park on the beach. Permits can be purchased at:
