Accessibility at Texas SandFest
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking is available for vehicles displaying a current, valid state-issued accessible placard or license plate.
-
Location: On the beach inside the bollards at Marker 12.5, near the North entrance of SandFest.
-
Details: Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. No spots may be held or reserved.
For best access, arrive early, as availability can fill quickly during peak times.
Accessible Toilets
Accessible portable toilets are available throughout the event grounds. They are located at the north entrance, near the music stage, and at the south entrance.
Personal Mobility Devices (Guest-Owned Wheelchairs and Motorized Scooters)
Motorized scooters and wheelchairs are permitted at SandFest. However, most standard models perform poorly in sand. We strongly recommend using a beach wheelchair (see below) for improved mobility on the beach.
Beach Wheelchairs
A limited number of beach wheelchairs are available for free use to help guests navigate the sand. These are non-motorized and require someone in your group to push them.
