Vacation Package Raffle Rules

1. Sponsor and Eligibility

• This raffle is sponsored by Texas SandFest, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located at 200 S Alister St STE E, Port Aransas, TX 78373, organized to support community charities and scholarships.

• Only individuals aged 18+ who are U.S. residents are eligible to participate. Employees, board members, and their immediate families of Texas SandFest are excluded.

2. Raffle Purpose and Proceeds

• 100% of net proceeds from ticket sales benefit Texas SandFest’s mission, including community scholarships and donations to local nonprofits.

3. Ticket Information

• Tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100, plus a processing fee

• A total of 1,000 tickets will be available for sale. Tickets are available online at the Texas SandFest Vacation Package Raffle page or at designated Texas SandFest events from July 27, 2026 to December 18, 2026, or until sold out, whichever comes first. 

4. Prize Details

• One lucky winner will receive a Vacation Package sponsored in part by Life In Paradise. 

• The prize is valued at $3,500. There is no cash alternative prize, and the prize must be accepted as awarded.

5. Drawing and Winner Notification

• The drawing will take place on Saturday, December 18, 2026.

• The winner will be notified by phone and/or email and must claim the prize within 14 days, providing valid ID and tax information. If the winner fails to claim the prize within 14 days, Texas SandFest reserves the right to select an alternate winner within the next 15 days or retain the prize for the organization’s benefit.

6. Tax and Liability

• The winner is responsible for reporting the prize’s fair market value ($3,500) to all applicable entities

• Texas SandFest is not liable for taxes, delivery issues, prize condition, or insurance..

7. Publicity Release

• By entering this raffle, the winner grants Texas SandFest permission to use their name, photograph, and likeness for marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media posts, newsletters, and event publicity, without further compensation. This consent is irrevocable and applies to all media formats.

8. Compliance and Fairness

• This raffle complies with the Charitable Raffle Enabling Act (Texas Occupations Code Chapter 2002).

9. Extenuating Circumstances and Extensions

• In accordance with Texas law, if Texas SandFest is unable to award the prize on the scheduled date due to extenuating circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, natural disaster, or vendor delay), a new drawing date will be set.

• This new date will not exceed 30 days from the original scheduled date.

• Texas SandFest will refund the full ticket price to all participants.

10. Cancellation and Changes

• Texas SandFest reserves the right to cancel the raffle if fewer than 500 tickets are sold by December 1, 2026, with full refunds issued within 30 days of the cancellation announcement.

• Rules may be amended with notice posted online at least 7 days prior to the drawing.

11. Disputes

• Any disputes will be governed by Texas law, and ticket purchasers agree that the venue for all legal matters will be the Nueces County District Courts.
